**Business Service Representative**

**General Description:** This position is primarily responsible for developing meaningful employment opportunities while providing and encouraging employers to participate in On-the Job Training programs. Provide job screening, business counseling and follow-up services for employer.
**Job Requirements: *(Performs other work related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor)***
* Identifying employers who are willing to employ qualified candidates from the offender population
* Marketing to employers the array of services available through the Kintock Group
* Developing and maintaining a complete data bank of employer contacts
* Developing and maintaining a productive working relationship with employers
* Developing and maintaining a rapport with educational and vocational facilities beneficial to the offender population
* Assisting employers in establishing recruiting standards, which will benefit the hard to place skilled disadvantaged applicant
* Providing information and encouragement to employers who are willing to participate in On-the-Job Training programs and tax credit programs
* Developing and updating On-the-Job training plans, agreements and other relevant required documentation in a timely manner
* Helping residents develop employability skills, such as job search techniques, completing applications and interviewing skills
* Conducting and documenting on-site employment
* Providing on-site follow-up counseling to residents to ensure effective work ethics
* Organizing and implementing an annual employer recognition luncheon
* Providing accurate and timely documentation/reports in accordance with company and contract guidelines
* Participating in mandated training and staff development activities, and Performing other job related duties as may be required by the supervisor
**Qualifications/Skill Requirements:**
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
* Minimum one year experience in the field of employment and training, marketing, human resource and/or employment counseling
**Knowledge:**
* Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* OJT rules and regulations
* Federal, State and Local employment laws
* Employment principles and acceptable work ethics
* Networking techniques to develop a database of employers
* Accessible support services, including assessment tools and opportunities for skill development
**Abilities:**
* Plan, organize and control resources to meet the responsibilities of this position
* Prepare timely reports in accordance with company and contract guidelines
* Meet and maintain contract employment requirements Communicate effectively (oral and written) within the organization, and with contract agencies and the employment community
* Manage a flexible work schedule
* Maintain a clean driving record
* Travel regionally
**Education Requirements:**
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Undergraduate degree in sales, marketing, business administration or related field
**Earning certifications in the specific technologies or products in use at the workplace is valuable and might be considered a prerequisite for advancement
