You may be eligible for Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) QUALIFICATIONS Education: A Four (4) year degree in Business or qualified experience Experience: 2 years of progressive experience in building relationships, sales Madison County, IL residency requirements must be met within 6 months of hire EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES initiates and develops business contacts for the purpose of assisting customers to obtain employment develops information on workforce needs of area business provides information on incentives available to area employers who hire WIOA customers provides reports on local labor market conditions assists in the development of OJT (on-the-job training) and Incumbent Worker Training contracts acquires job listings from area employers for the Southwestern Illinois workNet works with area organizations (Chamber of Commerce, etc.) to provide information about WIOA/WtW programs (public speaking) solicits information from area employers on employment and training needs, WIOA services assists Assistant Director in providing services to businesses that are closing or reducing employment works with Employment Counselors to determine customer job needs develops jobs for specific customers, including customized training of employees performs follow-up with job placements as necessary inputs data and assists with the job order systems used by the department Works with technology relating to recruitment and testing for business performs other duties as required or assigned reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above This description is intended to indicate the kinds of tasks and levels of difficulty that will be required of positions that will be given this title and shall not be construed as declaring what the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position shall be.
