Business Systems Analyst
- Location: North San Antonio, TX
- Schedule: Monday-Frida 8am-5pm
Role Overview: The Business Systems Analyst will assist in defining and improving business processes, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and analyzing business and user requirements. This role involves drafting system recommendations, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Define and improve business processes to measure, analyze, and control.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align requirements and identify cross-functional impacts.
- Analyze and document business and user requirements, creating functional specifications.
- Draft recommendations for system alternatives or enhancements.
- Assist in continuous exploration and investigation of business performance for planning.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support implementation decisions.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and document knowledge for Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Execute basic IT service management practices, including incident, change, problem, and SDLC methodologies.
- Assist in test case development and execution for technology delivery.
- Plan, conduct, and document user stories, feedback, and support prototype and wireframe development.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience:
- Experience in business analysis or related field.
- Basic knowledge of IT service management and SDLC methodologies.
- Proficiency in documentation and communication tools.
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cost-benefit analysis and process improvement.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and IT service management practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
