Business System Analyst (POS System)

Position Details :

· We are looking for Business System Analyst who will help us Business and functional requirement gathering for small medium complex scope; compiling needs from multiple stakeholders into a single set of prioritized requirements.

· Identify business processes, document their workflow in process maps which reflect the relationship between the operating model and the technology platforms, and identify roles within these processes.

· Work with stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges, assist in aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders.

· Include dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements.

· Engages with engineering team to design technical solutions that meet business requirements.

· Oversee the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

· Assists in testing and participates in test phases prior to UAT.

· Updates technical specs based on testing, prioritized defects or post-release lessons learned

· Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

· Create and maintain reports to support business decision-making and provide actionable recommendations.

· Supports communication for application/system deployment

· Works to ensure application availability and SLAs for operational readiness

· Utilize or develop artifacts such as business requirements documentation, JIRA. and Confluence to facilitate requirements alignment sessions, develop test scripts, and document requirements for SOX auditing.

· Evaluate current business processes, workflows, and roadmaps to have a comprehensive understanding of current state and ideal future state.

· Lead cross functional collaboration and drives to alignment with business partners within constraints of the project or work.

Qualifications:

·Senior Business System Analyst with over 5+ years of experience supporting IT projects within an enterprise environment (1000+ employees). Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

·2+ projects working as a BA on Oracle X-store POS solution end to end. Must have experience working with gateways/processors. Payment experience is a must in order to understand the complexity of the environment.

·2+ projects (end to end) working with data integrations (APls, files) - must demonstrate the ability to analyze cross-functional flows and understand functional flows in Saas applications.

·Experience creating technical specifications and documentation for large, complex projects

·Strong understanding of retail systems, including Oracle X-store POS, inventory management and e-commerce platforms.

· Experience with data analysis tools and technologies, such as SOL, Excel. and Bl tools.

· Knowledge of various project lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

· Understanding of Cl/CD pipelines and automation, Container Management Application Performance Engineering, monitoring, alerting, AWS Services and Architecture

· Ability to determine estimates of effort and impacts for a variety of solutions and influence technical discussions and decisions

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous tasks and to coordinate activities with a high sense of urgency

· Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent presentation, verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
