Job Description Job Description Job Description The Business Systems Administrator will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing Blackwoods core internal systems, primarily Salesforce, but also to include: AccountingSeed, ADP, and Avalara. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and accuracy of these systems, working closely with internal teams and external consultants to manage day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements. Key Responsibilities: Salesforce Administration Day-to-Day Management: Oversee the User Action Request (Error/Fix) Global Action queue, handling user queries on reports, dashboards, and access. Address ad hoc requests from senior leadership, including troubleshooting issues with triggers, orders, etc. System Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of Blackwoods organizational roles, hierarchies, and custom objects within Salesforce. Familiarize with existing dashboards and their business logic to effectively conduct quality assurance (QA/QC). Collaboration with External Consultants: Serve as the primary liaison with third-party consultants, translating business requirements into technical specifications. Coordinate project requirements, dependencies, objectives, and timelines, ensuring clear communication and alignment before proceeding. Manage pre-release, QA, and testing in the User Acceptance Test (UAT) environment. Document all enhancements, changes, and releases in formal Release Notes. Annual System Updates: Update systems to support annual planning and performance activities, including: Sales quotas and commission plans Annual sales goals (RSM/OEM) Account updates and personnel changes Dashboard updates to support reporting needs for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) Administration of Other Business Systems Oversee and manage additional business systems, including: Accounting Seed (Accounting/ERP System) ADP (Human Resources Information System) Avalara (Tax Compliance System) SAP Concur (Travel & Expense) Basic Qualifications US Citizenship and willingness to undergo a background check Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Strong ethical integrity and a positive Ability and desire to learn new commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technologies Excellent presentation and written communication skills Strong time management skills Motivation, enthusiasm, and a sense of fun in a fast-paced environment Additional Qualifications Salesforce certification(s) Experience with SAP Concur or similar T&E SaaS tools, ERP/Accounting SaaS systems, ADP, or other HRIS SaaS tools
