Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst with our client in their New York, NY location This is a 12 month + and possible right to hire position This is a hybrid remote position that requires 3 days onsite. Summary:
- Seeking a Business Systems Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
- With this knowledge, develops or modifies moderately complex information systems
- Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
- Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts
- Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
- Related business experience in the investment/securities industry
Requirements:
- Business Analysis
- Trading Applications
- Fixed Income product knowledge
- BA/BS in Business or related area
- Working knowledge of standard design methodologies and principles
- A strong business perspective and knowledge of the characteristics and analytics associated with complex fixed income instruments
- Knowledge of the processing and modeling associated with derivative instruments a plus
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Strong business and analytical skills, excellent communication skills
- Experience and track record of leading/managing successful large scale project implementations
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position
