Job Description:
A Brief Overview The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining Portfolio Monitoring and Client Relationship Management software used by Hunt Capital Partners (database systems). The Business Systems Analyst manages the database system improvements including customization, maintaining security, data audits and corrections, and introduction of new functionality. Additional duties including creating and maintaining documentation and training materials, serving as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assisting subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. What you will do
  • Executes the strategic direction of the Company's data strategy in collaboration with company leadership. Collaborates with each department to identify information needs and develop data processes or reports to deliver the needed information.
  • Regularly performs data audits and validation, and follows up with appropriate teams for corrections. Regularly conducts requirements system reviews and proactively develops and modifies processes to meet the needs of the business and drive efficiencies.
  • Manages the design, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of the database system enhancements.
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to identify, execute, and implement upgrades or fixes to the database system as needed. Documents process and results.
  • Provides support for the database systems including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Serves as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders. Uses project management skills in managing projects.
  • Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Develops dashboards and reports for internal developers and Investor special requests.
  • Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls for the database systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Manages user access to database systems. Responsible for onboarding and training new users and management companies. Develops user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Provides support in the development and delivery of training as it applies to current, new, and enhanced features for the database systems. Ensures all information is communicated to impacted users timely.
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in the database systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science Required
  • 4-6 years Experience in database administration and/or client support. Required
  • 4-6 years Database system implementation and management experience. Required
  • 1-3 years Project management experience. Preferred
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and report writing. Required
  • Experience with Pereview and Juniper Square. Preferred
  • Expert skills in MS Excel including Macros/VBA required.
  • Thorough knowledge of the M365 Platform and cloud-based systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use a variety of software applications.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong understanding of database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools.
  • Strong foundational knowledge developing and communicating processes, data, and procedures and standards in-order to ensure data integrity.
  • Strong foundational knowledge and experience in Information Security standards and practices.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
  • Experience with system migrations and system integrations.
Compensation We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $119,000.00 - $143,000.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role.
