Learn more about our services, industry experience and culture at weaver.com. Position Profile Weaver is seeking talented professionals to join our growing Energy Compliance Services (ECS) team. Weaver's ECS practice is dedicated to helping businesses navigate compliance with evolving regulations, including regulations governed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Environment and Climate Change Canada, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency, California Air Resources Board, as well as other various states and provinces. Many of the environmental programs we focus on within our ECS practice are rooted in managing the human impact on the environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing sustainability. We have substantial expertise and experience with transportation fuel regulations, including petroleum-based fuels as well as renewable fuels. Weaver seeks a Business Systems Analyst to join our growing team.This Business Systems Analyst will primarily be responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help the ECS practice maximize productivity and communication. The duties include talking with practice management to determine needs; development and maintenance of business applications, tools, and templates; coordinating with other internal and external IT professionals, as needed, to create and/or update software; and training company employees on how to use software solutions effectively in their daily jobs.The position will also be involved with client service-working closely with the other professional services team members to provide ECS practice clients with business application solutions. The ECS practice currently operates within three separate business units-assurance, regulatory consulting, and technical (housing our chemical engineering team members).We have more than 130 professionals across all three business units.The ideal candidate will be able to maintain good working relationships and communicate effectively with team members in all three business units.The ideal candidate is self-motivated, deadline oriented, has strong interpersonal skills, and maintains professionalism. To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, or a related field
  • Advanced working knowledge of computer applications (SharePoint, Power BI, SQL, and all Microsoft Office Applications) and able to maintain systems and databases, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions to business requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies-Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Excellent detail-orientated skills to maintain high standards for data accuracy, completeness, and assurance
  • Documentation management skills
  • Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with both key stakeholders and computer technical support contractors
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
  • Programming experience (Python, Java, C#, etc.)
