Job Description:
New England Federal Credit Union is hiring for a Business Systems Analyst focused on lending systems! This team member is responsible for understanding business needs, assessing the impact of those changes, capturing, analyzing and documenting, production support, and process improvement initiatives. The support of business and production support initiatives will include conducting research, investigating, and analyzing business processes and procedures, as well as working with vendors for issue resolution. This team member will primarily support our lending departments and systems. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a hybrid/remote option Responsibilities:
  • The Business Systems Analyst will support users and/or vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications and complete work requests to support the users. Provides on-going support toward the development of software workflows, custom forms, SQL queries, and other application controls.
  • Test, and debug new enhancements or system updates received from software vendors or in accordance with standard operating procedures and practices to ensure proper utilization before implementation of the production system. Performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. Helps design, test and implement solutions for end-to-end integrated systems.
  • Help create, maintain, and provide documentation on process and applications that are supported. Helps keep procedures current and recommends changes to management. Assist with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing.
  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to understand business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues. Interacts with the Technology department on the analysis and testing of all new system enhancements and productivity tools. Aid in establishing work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Assist in the development of project plans and provides support to management in the tracking and reporting of various customer service projects
  • Cross train with other team members for back-up purposes. Attend training as needed and required.
Recommended Experience:
  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • A college degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in lending or financial services
  • Familiarity with credit union regulations preferred.
  • Experience with the following systems preferred: Fiserv DNA, Fiserv Loan Director, Finastra Mortgagebot, Finastra LaserPro & CreditQuest, CUDL and CUNexus.
