Business Systems Analyst - Emergency Response & Readiness Support
Location: Atlanta, GA (100% on-site, near the airport)

Duration: 6 months
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to work on-site in Atlanta. The ideal candidate is a proactive Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in data analytics, emergency response support, and stakeholder communication, particularly within health security or government operations. They possess excellent analytical skills, are adept at working under pressure, and are highly skilled in liaising with health officials and agencies to support real-time decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Business Systems Analysis: Participate in high-level meetings with senior officials (HHS, ASPR, SNS) to understand and support the mission of the SNS.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct data mining, analysis, and modeling from structured and unstructured sources. Develop insights and create sustainable reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Excel.
Stakeholder Communication: Work with stakeholders to evaluate and document business requirements, collaborating with IT teams to configure and test systems.
Readiness Support: Maintain a flexible readiness posture, prepared to respond 24/7 for emergency incidents, including during critical public health emergencies.
Information Gathering & Documentation: Compile qualitative and quantitative data for program decision-making. Support the preparation of system recommendations for senior leadership.
Liaison Duties: Establish and nurture relationships with health officials and relevant organizations to ensure cohesive program support and information flow.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis and data analytics.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data modeling.
Communication Skills: Proven ability to liaise effectively with health officials and stakeholders.
Emergency Response Background: Experience in emergency response support or real-time decision-making.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with CDC, DSNS, or ASPR operations.
Experience with incident response or readiness systems.
