Job Description:

Quest Corporation of America is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Unit Leader to join our team in Tallahassee. As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of your designated program through strategic planning, operational excellence, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an annual Strategic Business Plan, set strategic goals, identify business opportunities, and lead efforts to grow the business unit.
  • Operations Management: Oversee production, monitor workflow output, ensure quality standards are met, and uphold excellent customer service levels.
  • Team Development: Attract, recruit, retain, and train a high-performing team. Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with employees and customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Financial Management: Drive financial performance by managing budgets, pursuing new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding financial goals, and minimizing expenses while maintaining high-quality operations.
Professional Requirements:
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, psychology, business management, or comparable studies.
  • Must have 5 years of leadership, operations management, or project management experience.
  • Must have 3 years of public involvement, public relations, media, or community outreach experience, preferably in infrastructure working for or serving a state or municipal agency.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Talent for understanding, simplifying, and effectively communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with a significant degree of independence, initiative, creativity, and expert judgment.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Familiarity with digital communications, including websites and social media.
