We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Busser supports the AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk restaurant operations by ensuring that tables are clean and ready for new guests, assisting servers, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area. The ideal candidate is quick on their feet, attentive to details, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave
- Reset tables with clean utensils, plates, and glassware
- Ensure tables are properly arranged and set according to restaurant standards
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables
- Refill water glasses and offer additional items as needed
- Help with the presentation of dishes and beverages to guests
- Sweep and mop floors as necessary
- Wipe down chairs, high chairs, and other dining area surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including restrooms, as required
- Replenish supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments
- Ensure that the service stations are stocked and organized
- Assist in organizing and storing new supplies
- Greet and seat guests as directed
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously
- Address minor guest issues or concerns and escalate to management if necessary
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and safe food handling practices
- Report any hazards or maintenance issues to management
EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
- Ability to work individually or with others in a fast-paced work environment
- One year of customer service experience with general public preferred
- Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Facility has intermittent noise
