Busser / Food RunnerThe Busser/Runner's main job responsibility is to clear/set tables and to support servers in carrying food and beverages to designated tables. Additional duties include communicating with servers to determine their needs, carrying food items from the expediting counter, providing friendly service to guests, and assisting with cleanup duties after the conclusion of service. Busser must also report guest problems or issues to a supervisor as observed.Wages:Hourly Wage: $8.00 per hourEligible for Tips: YesBonus: Busser/Runners are eligible for a work performance-based bonus of up to $1.00 for every hour worked during the Season through Sunday, October 13; must work a minimum of 200 hours in total. The associate must work until the date of commitment agreed to at the interview.Qualifications & Duties:
- Must be an enthusiastic individual with a courteous and positive attitude toward guests, outside vendors, and co-workers.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented to ensure all orders are delivered to the correct tables.
- Timeliness is required as well as grooming standards.
- Availability to work weekends, especially during the summer season.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, or stretch for long periods of time.
- Ability to take and follow directions from the restaurant management team.
