Chic upscale Manhattan lounge restaurant Il Pellicano, is hiring bussers for our Southampton location for the 2024 summer season. Needing availability starting this weekend!!!
- Cleaning: Busses clean tables, chairs, booths, and floors when customers leave, and may also sweep and mop. They may also clean the outside patio, restaurant perimeter, and restrooms.
- Setting tables: Bussers prepare tables for service by setting them with tableware, linens, decorations, and condiments.
- Delivering food: Bussers may help waitstaff deliver food orders to tables.
- Refilling drinks: Bussers may refill water glasses and other beverages.
- Assisting other staff: Bussers may assist hosts with seating rotations, sales staff with table needs, and bartenders with bar needs. They may also bring dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to the kitchen.
- Communicating: Bussers may communicate with guests' dietary needs or dislikes to the server or manager. They may also communicate with other staff to ensure efficient seating.
- Other tasks: Bussers may greet customers, take orders, and provide welcome snacks.
