The ideal candidate is friendly, curious, and devoted to becoming an integral member of a team that values hard work and attention to every detail. Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining cleanliness of tables, plates, glasses and organization in the dining room and service areas.
- Setting up tables with appropriate mis en place (napkins, chopsticks, soy dish, candles etc.)
- Assisting with running beverages to all tables in their assigned section, assisting other sections when necessary.
- Collaborate with the entire team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Clean, stock and maintain Food Runner stations throughout service.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of every item on the menu and answer customer questions with clarity and confidence, providing recommendations upon requests.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of all floor plans and table numbers.
- Provide friendly, gracious, motivated, detail oriented, and responsive service to create a memorable dining experience for customers.
- Follows safety sanitation rules and practices in accordance with health code standards.
- Sign in/out with a captain and complete opening/closing tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
General Requirements and ExperienceGeneral Requirements and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a full service, high-volume, fast paced kitchen.
- Maintain polished personal presentation; grooming meets Company standards as outlined by Employee Handbook.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to walk up and down the stairs.
- Must be able to handle items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Must have open availability and able to work Weekends and Holidays.
