The Role
The runner / busser is responsible for assisting the service team in delivering excellence in guest service by assisting the team on the floor by setting, clearing tables and delivering food. The runner / busser in constantly on their toes, anticipating the needs of the guest and the server.
Responsibilities
- Team-oriented with a positive and outgoing personality.
- Maintains cleanliness and stocks service stations.
- Restocks and sets plates, glassware, and other essentials.
- Handles tasks like emptying trash bins and replenishing supplies.
- Assists servers during service, ensuring quality and standards.
- Adheres to company policies, safety procedures, and reports incidents.
- Maintains a clean and professional appearance.
- Welcomes and acknowledges guests according to company standards.
- Builds positive relationships and supports team goals.
- Ensures restaurant tables are clean and properly set.

Requirements & Experience
- 1-3+ years of hospitality experience in full-service restaurants.

- Professional and confident verbal and written communication with guests, employees and ownership.
