**SCHEDULE**

Night Shift 7:00 pm - 7:30 am (2-2-3 schedule)

*Must be willing towork weekends and holidays that fall into schedule.

Continental Dairy Facilities is Select Milk Producers first state of the art powder milk and butter facility that will produce over 300,000 pounds of dry non-fat milk per day in Coopersville, Michigan. **SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS**

Responsible for the labeling, staging, and picking of production. Also, responsible for load outs and receiving of all products and supplies for the butter operation.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Reports to and follows the directions of the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Plant Supervisor/Foreperson.

* Maintain proper rotation of the products, inventory of supplies, and of assigned items.

* Properly ship all butter orders and fill out all necessary paperwork correctly.

* Assure that the warehouse stays clean and orderly at all times and that yellow borders stay clean. All supplies and inventory items remain 18 from the walls.

* The warehouse must remain USDA inspection ready at all times.

* Conduct monthly and yearly inventories.

* Keep management personnel up to date on warehouse operations through verbal and written communications.

* Confirm product quality is acceptable prior to shipping.

* Assure that all products meet customer requirements.

* Inspects all trucks prior to loading; they must be clean, free of any foreign debris, and the refer must be in working condition.

* Aid in the training of new personnel.

* Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.

* Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**

* Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.

* Must have the ability to troubleshoot small problems and be able to discern when issues may require input from levels of authority within the corporation.

* Must be willing to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.

* Must have the ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form.

* High School level verbal and written communication skills.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**

* A High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
