Job description:1. Use purchasing system to set up Purchasing Orders and other tasks.2. Send out requests for proposal as necessary, adhering to clients business practices and Desktop guides3. Perform supplier sourcing as needed. Create new vendors and maintain vendor contact information.4. Expedite orders to ensure on time delivery.5. Able to communicate with vendors and divisions to gather SOW or Specifications.6. Ability to follow checklist and desktop guides to obtain and analyze all the necessary documentations7. Capable of performing price analysis on complex purchases8. Able to follow Matric to negotiate terms and conditions9. Misc. tasks as assignedRequired Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have BA in Business or related degree or MBA is preferred.
- 3 plus years of experience negotiating and awarding purchase orders and effectively communicating with suppliers.
- Must have knowledge of FARs and DFARs
- 3 plus years of government purchasing / contracting experience is highly desired.
- Must be able to do market research and proficient in MS Office, especially Word & Adobe
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have a high level of motivation, attention to details, able to multi-task and energetic.
- Must be a US Citizen
