As a Sourcing Specialist placed with Kelly OCG you will be responsible for the following:Qualifications:
- 4 years experience in sourcing or supply chain or equivalent working with suppliers on business terms and pricing, quoting, supplier selection process, negotiating
- 4 years experience in medical devices field
- College degree
- Proficient in MS Office/Office 365
- Ability to read/understand schedules and Gantt charts
- Work experience or employment with a medical devices manufacturer
Day to Day:
- Seek qualified suppliers from Procurement Category Managers by sharing new product drawings or other information.
- Send/receive RFQ's and RFP's to Suppliers
- Collate and compare supplier responses to RFQ/RFP
- Conduct supplier down-select process and meeting with internal stakeholders.
- Schedule and/or attend weekly supplier meetings during development/NPD phase of project. Take meeting minutes/action items and distribute.
- Negotiate business terms and pricing, cost reduction schedules with suppliers and execute supply and distribution agreements with support of JnJ legal department.
- Enable suppliers to successfully deliver validation lots of products by exercising project management skills, conducting meetings, holding stakeholders accountable for action items.
- Report COGS to Supply Chain team.
- Report standard costs to Finance team.
- Coordinate with Planning for issuance of initial production purchase orders.
- Continually report progress, risks to line manager throughout the process.
