The Coated Products Operations (CPO) consists of three manufacturing plants, 4 Slitting and Distribution Centers, and a majority interest partnership in Mexico. The CPO manufactures pressure sensitive label stock, utilizing a variety of face stock, adhesive and release liner combinations. Product capabilities include an expanded film line, as well as traditional paper, foil and thermal offerings.
The Coated Products facility in Green Bay has completed a major expansion, making this plant a state-of-the-art facility. The expansion has doubled the size of our plant, and includes a new building, coater, slitters and Automated Sequencing System.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary focus of this position will require utilizing current reports as well as developing new reporting, to identify supply chain issues that can then be used to work with our vendors and customers to drive improvements. This individual will identify gaps in business performance and develop recommendations to improve performance in accordance with our business objectives.
· Evaluate use of existing information technologies for suitability and potential modification
· Manage raw material targets to align with production
· Collaborate with cross functional teams such as manufacturing, transportation, technical, scheduling, and marketing to ensure the efficient supply chain management and timely delivery of raw materials
· Evaluate programs to improve service to our customers and reduce lead times
· Assisting the Procurement group in the management of specific raw materials
· Help benchmark service levels versus our competition
· Work with the Purchasing & Logistics groups on contracts, negotiation preparation, and other activities as they present themselves
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in the following area(s): Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or Business
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
· Microsoft Office literacy with working knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
· Proficiency in ERP systems
· Previous experience in Procurement and Power BI is preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
· Knowledge of material costing, logistics, and supplier management
