Position Overview:
Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for supply chain and a passion for optimizing processes? The firm is seeking a highly motivated Buyer/Planner to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of their supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products. Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management: Source and procure materials, components, and services required for production, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock to prevent shortages or excesses, optimizing storage space and reducing costs.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best possible outcomes for the company.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, buying, or planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of building strong supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
