You will work both with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to provide transparency and visibility into component availability and supply chain risksIn this role you will
  • Purchase material/Service in Infor LN to support ongoing operations
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure timely delivery of product/services for assigned product/project
  • Align material/service deliveries with production/project schedule that supports our customer's needs.
  • Initiate Purchase orders, ensure prompt receipt, ensure allocation of material to production
  • Run weekly open order reports and get updated schedule from suppliers
  • Perform data analysis and support management reporting of KPIs
  • Assists in getting correct information from suppliers' price, lead time etc..to maintain correct information in material master
  • Resolve GR/IR issues with suppliers
  • Negotiation skills with both internal and external suppliers
  • Support Supplier corrective action processes
  • Skilled with data analytics tools e.g. Power BI, excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc...)
  • Review and target supplier delivery improvements & late order resolution
  • Track the vendor's progress against the original and/or revised schedule
  • Well organized to support changing priorities and schedules
  • Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers to improve cost, quality and delivery performance
  • Knowledge of incoterms and its impact on cost
  • Works in conjunction with Strategic procurement, supplier quality and Logistics for improving total cost of ownership of products/services
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects/activities
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned
  • Coordinate and execute planning activities for assigned parts using Infor LN ERP system
  • Interface with cross-functional team to identify and coordinate the disposition of obsolete, non-conforming, and excess materials.
  • Utilize Lean Concepts and tools to enact Supply Chain solutions and process improvements.
  • Tracking Planning KPI in metrics, lead and initiate, facilitate corrective actions in case of deterioration
  • Maintain accurate lead time data by communication with suppliers and/or manufacturing
ExpectationsThe incumbent must meet one of these requirements:1) 3-5 Years Purchasing Experience in a complex environment.2) Bachelor's degree in supply chain or technical field3) Data AnalysisTo be successful in this role, you must be technically inclined, self-guided, and have a strong work ethic.Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
