Title: C++ Developer Location: Remote or Hybrid Opportunity Description: We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Developer to join a core development team responsible for building and maintaining high-performance trading systems. This role involves designing and implementing solutions to meet complex requirements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++ development, real-time systems, and trading environments. Responsibilities: Analyze business and system requirements to develop functional specifications. Design and develop high-quality, high-performance trading systems using C++. Build subject matter expertise in trading systems functionality and processing. Provide second-level support for production issues when required. Required Skills: Extensive experience in the full software development lifecycle, especially in mission-critical trading systems. Strong software design skills and advanced knowledge of data structures. Exceptional proficiency in C++ and debugging in a Linux environment. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Expertise in TCP/IP multicast and socket programming. Familiarity with BOOST libraries and STL. Experience developing real-time applications in distributed processing architectures. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Desired Skills: Knowledge of options or equities trading systems. Experience coding interface solutions for protocols such as FIX, OPRA, CTA, or UTP. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Perl. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in C++ development. 5+ years of demonstrated experience delivering software solutions in trading environments.
