Currently, RG is looking to hire a C++ Web Services Developer to support our internal JFAST software development team in creating a Best-in-Class high-quality software product that is installed across multiple client enterprise level planning and scheduling software implementations. Additional support may be provided to our customers as required.

A Day In the Life: To help make our customers successful, the chosen candidate can expect to be involved with or responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining web services using C++, focusing on mathematical computations and optimizations.
  • Implementing and optimizing algorithms for various applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Utilizing graph theory to solve complex problems and enhance the functionality of web services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate web services with front-end applications developed in Java or Angular.
  • Performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Developing and maintaining database queries using Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to web services and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve the development process continuously.

Required Skills

The C++ Developer is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value teamwork, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience with:
    • C++ development with a strong focus on mathematical applications and bit manipulation
    • Algorithm optimization and performance tuning
  • 5+ years of experience with:
    • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL
    • Strong understanding of graph theory and its applications in web services
    • Proficiency in Java or Angular for front-end integration
    • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and ability to work in teams
