.Net Developer - Hedge Fund Orbis is partnered with a boutique hedge fund on a full-time C#/.Net Developer opening. This role will design and model new products for their portfolio management platform and create custom applications and workflow automation. You'll also be exposed to Machine Learning and Quantitative Coding; writing code simulating multiple asset classes for portfolio forecasting. This will join a small engineering team that interacts with investment professionals, portfolio strategists, and traders on a daily basis. This group has an extremely collaborative culture with a focus on learning. Requirements:A bachelor degree in computer science or financial engineering.2+ years of professional development experience ideally in technology, financial industry and asset management.Experience building modern Web/Desktop applications using C#/.Net FrameworkUnderstanding of programming best practices (SRP, DI, Decoupling, TDD, BDD).Passionate about latest technologies, self-driven to constantly improve and grow.Working knowledge with SQL on any relational database server, such as SQL server.Self-driven and quick learner.
