Details Client NameMovement for Life Physical Therapy - Arroyo Grande Job TypeTravel OfferingAllied ProfessionTherapy SpecialtyPT Job ID29276738 Job TitleCA - PT - Days - Arroyo Grande, CA (Central Coast) Weekly Pay$2257.81 Shift Details ShiftDay - 8x5 - 09AM Scheduled Hours40 Job Order Details Start Date12/02/2024 End Date06/30/2025 Duration30 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Physical Therapist Job Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapy Job Duration: 30 weeks Shift: Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of intended work or plan to test soon Certifications: Maintain and update physical therapy skills and certifications as necessary Must-Have: Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding Job Description: - Implement patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength.- Evaluate and treat patients within a physical therapy and rehabilitation setting.- Utilize electronic medical records to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.- Supervise PT Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care.- Communicate with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure quality patient care.- Be responsible for accurate documentation of patient care, including follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations.- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns.- Collaborate with front office staff regarding patient scheduling and follow-up.- Possess computer skills necessary for completing job requirements such as typing, using Word, Internet, EMR, etc.- Make independent decisions regarding patient care.- Be involved in the business marketing and referral process as needed.- Adhere to HIPAA policies and procedures.- Understand PT billing policies and procedures regarding various types of payment.- Maintain physical mobility, including a combination of sitting, walking, and prolonged standing, during work hours.- Be capable of lifting 50 pounds and assisting patients with mobility restraints, transferring, and walking safety. Work Environment: Outpatient rehabilitation clinic Supervisory Responsibility: Supervises PT Assistants and Aides regarding patient care. Privacy and Compliance: - Protect patient information in accordance with privacy policies and legal regulations.- Report any concerns regarding privacy practices without fear of retaliation.- Participate actively in privacy training and communicate privacy policy information as required.- Comply with OSHA, and federal and state regulations. Physical Demands: - Engage in activities such as walking, sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving continually during working hours.- Manage the physical requirements of lifting and supporting patients and ensuring safety at all times. Travel: No travel expected for this position.
