Job Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
  • Safe Operation of any vehicle around aircraft in an Airport Ramp Environment
  • Use of personal protective equipment, including a face shield & hearing protection
  • Ability to comprehend and execute safe procedures concerning blood-borne pathogens and universal precaution controls
  • Use lavatory and sanitary water equipment to safety empty, flush and fill aircraft systems according to airline and regulatory requirements
  • Follow all local environmental procedures in emptying waste trucks and fueling same in designated areas
  • Complete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists
  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
  • Exceed Delta customer service and safety standards
  • Carry out other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION
  • High School Diploma required or equivalent
EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE
  • 1+ year cleaning, janitorial, aviation or relevant work experience
SKILL and/or ABILITIES
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must pass a required pre-employment drug screen and 10-year background check
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong work etiquette
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be punctual & dependable
  • Willing to work in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment
  • Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed
