- Assemble Wire Harnesses: Cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires to create wire harnesses according to specifications.
- Read and Interpret Schematics: Follow wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings to assemble cables and harnesses.
- Conduct Quality Inspections: Inspect completed wire harnesses and cables for defects or discrepancies, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Perform Testing: Use tools and equipment to test the functionality and continuity of wire assemblies.
- Maintain Equipment: Ensure tools and machinery are properly maintained and calibrated for accurate assembly.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines during assembly to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Document Work: Record and report assembly processes, test results, and any issues encountered during production.
- Collaborate with Team: Work with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to meet production goals and improve processes.
