Cable Assembly OperatorApply Now!Back to searchLocation: Mesa, ArizonaPosted: 09/03/2024Location Name: Amphenol Borisch TechnologiesWage: Depends on ExperienceThe Cable Assembly Operator is responsible to correctly and efficiently complete wire and cable assemblies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics for cable assembly.Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.Solder parts or connections between parts.Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.Job RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED.Must be able to regularly sit, stand and walkMust be able to pass a Vision exam to inspect work at a close distanceMust be able to read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints and schematicsMust be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic mathMust be able to effectively use all tools required for wire harness assemblyMust have keen attention to detail and qualityMust be able to bend, stoop and reachMust be able to lift up to 35 poundsAbout our CompanyAmphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is an industry leader in providing high-reliability electronic systems for Aerospace and Defense companies across the globe.
