PCB also provides all full-time team members with 100% employer paid medical premiums for you and your family, a competitive PTO package and 10 company paid holidays.As a Cable Assembly Technician with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will under general supervision, performs a variety of production tasks, including a commitment to quality, Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS), safety rules, maintaining manufacturing standards and utilizing written procedures and documentation where appropriate. Production tasks require the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment.Additional Duties:
  • Responsible for all functions of a Cable Assembly Technician I.
  • Works with other technicians, engineers and departments to verify existing processes, assembly methods, and assembly procedures.
  • Communicates with supervisors, lead persons and other production departments to ensure production schedule and delivery deadlines are met for team.
  • Must become knowledgeable in the use of all assembly equipment in the department and be able to make minor repairs to equipment when necessary.
  • During production, will perform such tasks as soldering, spot welding, epoxying and cleaning.
  • Assists in training of new technicians on various aspects of assembly.
  • Provides input on yield issues for improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:Education:
  • High School Graduate or GED
Experience:
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Soldering, cleaning, ESD control, spot welding, epoxying, assembly processes, computer skills, basic electronics background, good problem-solving skills.
