Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking Data Center Laborers for a long term project to provide assistance with the installation and assembly of unistrut and cable racks as well as various types of voice and data cables.
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
Technicians MUST have experience working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, Category 5, Category 6, single and multi-mode fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes: pulling, placement, terminating, testing, and labeling cable, rack install, fiber termination and testing experience a plus. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
-Pulling cable in a data center -Dressing out data racks
Education and Experience:
Education Level: High School/GED
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant job experience. Relevant job experience is described as job experience in similar industry or job experience with similar essential duties
Physical Requirements:
Sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; lift 75 lbs.; works in all weather conditions
Field of Study: Electronics, Telecommunications, Construction or Project Management
