Future Cable Load/Offload Representative OpportunitiesIf you would like to be considered for upcoming Cable Load/Offload roles, please submit your application here.Job DescriptionThe Cable Load/Offload Representative ensures that all cable loading and stowage operations align with Supplier specifications. This role involves joining the cableship before loading begins, monitoring cable handling, and providing on-call support to address any issues that arise. The Representative is responsible for observing and reporting on cable handling quality to ensure compliance and reliability.Key Responsibilities:Observe cable loading operations to confirm compliance with Supplier's specifications.Remain available on a 24-hour basis, primarily on 12-hour shifts, with flexibility for extended hours if needed.Produce daily progress reports documenting the cable load-out process.Prepare a Cable Load Review Report, summarizing observations and recommendations for the Client's final report.Qualifications:Experience working in a marine depot environment.Understanding of optical body handling requirements and ability to interpret impactograph data.Familiarity with various types of submarine cable armoring.Experience working aboard cableships.Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures and ability to assess FAT outcomes.Bachelor's Degree, ORMinimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in telecom or marine operations.Full proficiency in written and conversational Japanese.Requirements:BOSIET or equivalent at-sea survival certification.OGUK or equivalent physical health certification.Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.Medical disclosure for assignment-related needs (e.g., insulin).Drug screen (if not included in OGUK physical, within 2 years).Seaman's book and valid passport.Three professional references.Work history for the past five years.WFN Strategies promotes a drug- and alcohol-free workplace and is committed to providing an inclusive environment free from discrimination based on age, color, disability, ethnicity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, veteran status, and other protected characteristics under applicable law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
