Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cable Technician for our client in Tulsa. This role is ideal for a hardworking individual with experience in pulling cable, who understands tools, and is not afraid of heights. The candidate must be willing to work as part of a team and demonstrate reliability and strong work ethics.
Responsibilities:
+ Pull and route cables in various environments
+ Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
+ Work at heights as required
+ Follow directions from the Team Lead and/or Project Manager
+ Review and understand documentation provided by the team lead (floorplans, paperwork, etc.)
+ Communicate with onsite contacts with approval from the Team Lead
+ Ensure the work site is cleaned up and in better condition than when you arrived
+ Report any work request changes to the team lead
+ Communicate materials used with the team lead
+ Complete the scope of work and ensure the job is done with the team
+ Prepare for the next day's tasks
+ Complete all other tasks and responsibilities assigned
Requirements:
+ Must pass a background check
+ Must pass a drug test
+ Preferably over 25 years old (for vehicle insurance purposes)
+ Willingness to be trained on job-specific systems chosen by Wyatt Tech leadership
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
+ High attention to detail
+ Ability and willingness to travel to client sites outside a 2-hour radius
+ Ability and willingness to work overtime when needed
+ Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
+ Ability and willingness to learn new technology and software
+ Reliable and punctual
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
+ Moderate physical activity, including handling objects up to 50 pounds
+ Standing and walking throughout the day
+ Occasional outside work required
