Summary of Job Duties:
The Box Office Student Worker works under the direct supervision of the CACE Administrative Assistant and the Director of Campus and Community Engagement and is responsible up the upkeep of the Welcome Center, Box Office, as well as assisting with other various assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Education & Work Experience: Minimum qualifications include: must be a UAFS enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours. Prior experience in student organizations or with customer service is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Selling tickets to Season of Entertainment and Athletic events on the phone and in person.
* Working events- ticketing, scanning, etc.
* Maintaining Lost & Found- Log and organize Found items and record Lost items in binder
* Taking any outgoing mail, student ID's and the deposit to the second floor.
* Maintain the Student Lounge supplies(i.e. Lion Pantry snacks, coffee bar supplies, etc.).
* Maintain a clean working environment in the Student Lounge and RSO Resource areas (i.e. clean, dust, put items away, etc.).
* Assist with RSO key check-outs, visitor parking passes, supply and table reservations in the Campus Center.
* Assist with marketing for CACE events (i.e. put out flyers, table tents, yard signs, etc).
* Assist RSOs with approval of flyers, making copies, restocking copy paper in the CACE and computer lab, checking and distributing office mail and maintaining a clean CACE Workroom area.
* Greet guests, answer phones, and cover Switchboard when needed
* Update master events calendar in the CACE Office

Additional Information:
Working Relationships: Works with Student Affairs staff located in the Office of Campus and Community Engagement.
Special Job Dimensions: Work performed primarily in an office setting. The CACE Box Office Student Worker may also be asked to perform tasks which may require occasional lifting of no more than 20 pounds.
