Our client, a well-established, leading provider of engineered industrial controls for multiple industries, including power generation, oil & gas, nuclear, industrial and others, is seeking a CAD Drafter to join its mechanical engineering team ASAP.

• Design products such as engines, machines, instruments, controls, or robots.
• Work with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans.
• Use Inventor software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.
• Produce specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components to be used in production.
• Build models and prototypes of the product and test the design.
• Study the test data and make comparisons with similar designs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

To be considered for this role, you should have...

• Design Software: Inventor proficiency required
• Attention to detail with strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking.
• Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to be flexible, motivated, resourceful and organized in a multi-functional role.
• Solid communication, organization and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at varying stages of completion simultaneously.
