Job Title: CAD Drafter (Project Layout Drafter)
Position Overview
The CAD Drafter (Project Layout Drafter) designs and drafts working layouts and master drawings of telescopic seating systems from specifications, sketches, models, prototype or verbal instructions by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Prepares CAD Drawings including prospective, shop drawings and final production drawings for engineering, sales and customers.
- Provide drawings to dealer-direct team and check for accuracy.
- Update standards manual as required.
- Analyzes specifications, sketches, engineering drawings, ideas and related design data to determine critical factors affecting final design.
- Draws rough sketches and performs mathematical computations to develop design and work out detailed specifications.
- Applies knowledge of mathematical formulas and physical laws and uses conventional and computerized work aids to make calculations.
- Makes revisions to size, shape and arrangement of systems to create practical design.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
