The person in this role will be responsible for assisting the Cadbury Dining Room Manager in the overall supervision of the Cadbury staff and will serve as the Dining Room Manager in his/her absence. - Assist the Dining Room Manager in overseeing the Cadbury staff, working with the team on opening and closing duties for the dining room and ensure that the closing, cleaning, and side work has been completed.
- Assure and maintain a high level of sanitation in the Dining Room by working with staff and to ensure the completion of daily cleaning duties and performing spot checks of the Dining Room to determine areas that need to be addressed and assign staff to correct the concern.
- Train all new wait staff for the department on service standards, customer service, and on the finer points on table service.
- Manage quality of wait staff performance during service in the Cadbury Dining Room by circulating throughout meal times and offer assistance and guidance to staff members as needed.
- Help plan and executes theme meals, helping with the catering & special events and holiday meals. Assists with setups and deliveries for function as necessary.
- Be present for major functions to assure event goes as planned.
- Monitor staff for safe food handling practices.
