As a Barista at our cafe in Fairport, NY, you embody warmth and efficiency, delighting customers with your service.

Your role involves: Greeting guests warmly and providing exceptional service throughout their visit. Maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment from opening to closing. Offering menu suggestions, remembering customer preferences, and upselling items. Staying informed about coffee trends and providing knowledgeable service. Handling transactions accurately and ensuring guest satisfaction. Following safety and security protocols diligently, with the possibility of ServSafe certification training Join our team as a Barista and be the friendly face that brightens our customers' day with every cup of coffee.

Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Take customer orders accurately and prepare beverages following company recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and handling complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
• Operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely service during peak hours.

Qualifications:

• A high school education or equivalent is preferred and at least one year as a Barista or related customer service position is also preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, as needed.
• Medium work -- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Near Vision - the ability to see details at close range. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
• Must possess fluency in English and be able to work in stressful, high-pressure situations, with the ability to multi-task on a continuous basis.
• Must be able to work early morning AM positions and weekend availability.
