Schedule: Full time - days, evenings, nights and weekendsMain Function:* Responsible for the preparation, seasoning, garnishing of food for Café meals.* This task is to be completed based on departmental recipes and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations.Required Job Specific Competencies:* Demonstrates skill in the ability to prepare food & knowledge of proper safe food handling.* Demonstrates the ability to work independently & exhibits flexibility in decision making & prioritizing assignments.* Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with all nutrition associates.* Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system.* Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.Qualifications:* Required High School or Equivalent* Preferred Associates degree in food service related field* Required six months food service experience.* Preferred 2 years' experience in healthcare* Preferred Serve safe certified.Pay Range: $16.50 - $20.00 per hourStarting Pay: Based on ExperienceThompson Health is an EOE encouraging women, minorities, individuals with disabilities and veterans to apply
