Overview:
The cafeteria aide serves customers in the cafeteria. Stocks and performs general cleaning in the cafeteria area to department standards.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Working Conditions-Physical Requirements & Atmosphere:
- Moderate physical effort, with ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended time.
- Knowledge of principles of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to interpret, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Serves food in prescribed safe manner using designated utensils. Completes transactions for cafeteria. Maintains food and service stocks in the cafeteria. Cleans -areas and equipment. Handles customers complaints. Maintains records of temperatures as prescribed. Assesses food for quality in temperature and appearance, reporting problems to supervisor if product does not meet standard. Performs other related work as required or requested.
