We're looking for a PRN (as needed) Cafeteria Assistant to join our Valley View Team!This position is a PRN (as needed) day/evening shift!GENERAL OBJECTIVES:Performs setup, stocking, clerical, cashier and money management duties of department.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Performs cashier functions of ringing up sales, entering employee numbers accurately, making change and making corrections to monetary mistakes.* Completes all cash reports in an accurate and timely manner after each meal period.* Complies with department's cash register and pricing methodology, with minimum overages and shortages.* Communicates all customer concerns to supervisor.* Reads and understands the cashier agreement (attached).* Maintains the cash register in working order.* Inventories and maintains necessary supplies to ensure efficiency of operation.* Maintains cashier station and dining room in a clean orderly condition at all times, including tabletops, condiment station, and other assigned areas.* Maintains a clean sanitary work environment.* Operates and cleans equipment after each use and in compliance with the master cleaning schedule.* Transports garbage and recyclable materials to assigned areas.* Sets up cafeteria in accordance with line diagram and monitors food temperature and quality.* Cleans and stocks assigned work area.* Serves accurate portion sizes in cafeteria setting.* Possesses appropriate food-item and ingredient knowledge and is able to effectively communicate possible allergens to customers.SALARY RANGE* $19.00 and up. + 14% PRN differential.* Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.BENEFITSValley View offers a comprehensive benefit package that supports our employees' physical, emotional and financial health.* Medical, Dental and Vision* Annual Bonus based upon organizational and individual performance.* Flexible Spending Account (FSA)* Generous Paid Time Off accrual* Tuition Assistance* 401(a) and 403(b) plans* Employee Assistance Program* Employee discount on Valley View Services* Use of Sunlight and Aspen SkiCo day passesLocated between Aspen and Vail, along the Colorado River, Glenwood Springs is a mecca for outdoor adventures in our beautiful mountains.
