If you seek empowerment, recognition and a diligence to provide superior service, the Omni San Francisco Hotel could be everything you have been looking for.Job DescriptionTo ensure the cafeteria is well-maintained, cleaned and stocked at all times, ensuring the cleanliness presentation and freshness of all food items. Being aware of daily menu offerings the day prior along with dietary and allergy information.ResponsibilitiesReview menu with Sous Chef/Executive Chef the day prior for any menu changes or updates. This includes understanding and preparation of condiments, sides, bread service such as hot dog/hamburger buns.Consult with Sous Chef/Executive Chef daily to discuss any additional offerings, salads, desserts, pastries, etc.Ensure station is completely set 15 minutes prior to service.Ensure all food supplies necessary for service are fresh and in appropriate supply 15 minutes prior to service. This includes but not confined t; Salad (lettuce and condiments) tuna salad, condiments listed on the day's menu, fruit, hamburger buns, hot dog buns, sandwich meat and condiments.Assist in controlling food cost, by assuring fair and consistent portions.Great every associate with a smile, accommodate all menu choices to the best of your ability.Refrigeration and serving of cold food.Proper food storage practices to include labeling, dating, hierarchy, food rotation, expiration dates of all products.Cafeteria always kept clean and neat, table wiped down, restock napkins.Ensure food is refreshed and well-presented.Ensure the cafeteria is well stocked with eating utensils, condiments, and other supplies.QualificationsMust be able to lift, push, pull and carry moderate weight. Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending and twisting. Must be able to utilize culinary tools (knives, commercial equipment, etc.) and taste/smell.Hourly Rate: $31.78-$32.03/hourly ratePursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
