General Job DescriptionEdmonson Electric, a division of IES Residential, is in need of a Qualified Residential Service Technician for our Ocala Branch.Electricians must be able to TROUBLESHOOT!!!!Job Summary:Correcting warranty issues for new construction homes after their closing date.Supervisory Responsibilities:•Ensuring homeowner calls are met in a timely manner•Complete all work at homeowners homes in a neat and workmanlike manner.•Responsible for correcting any issues for homeowners that are listed on their work ticket.Duties/Responsibilities:•Ensuring timeliness of calls in regards to homeowners schedule.•Ensuring all homes we enter are left clean of all debris, material etc from our warranty call•Ability to navigate situations with homeowners and deescalate situations with regard to frustration of call etc.Required Skills/Abilities:•Electrical trade knowledge for all aspects of residential electric.•Ability to read prints and scale to ensure placement of fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc.Education and Experience:•Previous experience in all phases of residential electricity.Physical Requirements:•Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.•Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.•Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.•Must be able to work in confined spaces•Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.•Must have clean driving record.Specific QualificationsMinimum Years of Experience2-4 License RequiredNo Minimum EducationNone Company OverviewIES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
