Key Responsibilities:
As Team Leader Quality & Exception Packages, your primary role is to:
* Manage unplanned packages and exception packages.
* Handle re-labeling and rerouting operations.
* Monitor packages entering the warehouse without a recorded exit.
The team leader is accountable for identifying and correcting exceptions encountered in the warehouse and training new operators in 3 core processes: Injection, Route Mode Sorting, and Parcel Mode Sorting.
Duties:
1. Managing Unplanned and Exception Packages:
* Handle unplanned and exception packages to ensure their final operations are completed (e.g., return to China, label reprinting).
* Identify, prioritize, and resolve package anomalies at the start of each shift.
* Rigorously track exception packages and coordinate their resolution with operators.
2. Relabeling (Rerouting) Operations:
* Oversee relabeling operations when necessary.
* Ensure labels comply with established standards.
3. Monitoring Packages with Missing Exit Records:
* Minimize lost packages in the warehouse.
* Propose process improvements to identify packages with no physical status (e.g., returned to China, damaged, relabeled).
4. Training and Supporting Team Members:
* Undergo training to effectively guide others on basic sorting and injection processes.
* Schedule and conduct onboarding sessions for new hires on sorting and injection processes as needed.
5. Team Management:
* Supervise, train, and support the 3 operators under your responsibility.
* Organize daily tasks and ensure efficient workload distribution.
6. Reporting:
* Provide daily reports to the OPS Manager of the AM/PM shift, detailing actions taken and anomalies encountered.Job Requirement
Technical Skills:
* Solid understanding of logistics processes.
* Ability to independently analyze and solve problems.
* Proficiency with warehouse management tools and package tracking software.
Managerial Skills:
* Natural leadership to guide and motivate a team.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.
* Strong communication skills for relaying information to the OPS Manager.
Personal Qualities:
* Rigor and organization.
* Proactiveness and initiative.
* Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience:
* Previous experience managing a team in a logistics environment.
* Familiarity with anomaly management workflows is a plus.
