Position Title: Head Volleyball Coach
Position Start Date: Summer 2025

Pay Range - As per the RE-1 Valley Schools Extra Duty Salary Schedule
Summary:
Instruct and work with athletes to prepare them for competition. The Head Volleyball Coach reports to the Athletic Director and is responsible for the overall volleyball program.
Responsibilities:
Leadership is to be provided by the coach in the following areas:
* Coordination of varsity and lower-level teams.
* Development of expectations and direction of the volleyball program.
* Tracking of eligibility and academic progress of students.
* Preparation of teams for competition.
* Teaching fundamental and advanced skills.
* Attend coaches' meetings, league coaches' meetings, and professional development.
* Communication with parents, players, staff, and media via RE-1 Valley School District-approved media.
* Following school district regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
Required:
* Must be 21 years of age, or older
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Complete and submit an RE-1 Valley Schools online application
* Willing and able to drive to away games, camps, scrimmages
Preferred:
* At least 3 years of high school and/or college coaching experience.
* Knowledge of all aspects of senior high school activity programming.
* Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with high school students.

Caliche Elementary and Caliche Jr/Sr High School, located outside Iliff, CO, are a part of RE-1 Valley School District. The District Administration Center is located in Sterling, CO (Logan County) in the Northeastern corner of Colorado on Interstate 76 alongside the Platte River. Having the largest population, approximately 13,900, in Logan County and much of the surrounding area, Sterling offers shopping, restaurants, numerous parks, a recreation center, access to medical care and is located near North Sterling Reservoir.
