Call Center Agent Job Summary You will answer incoming calls from customers who want to place orders, respond to inquiries, manage complaints, troubleshoot significant customer service problems, and provide general information. You will be a member of the primary contact team for consumers interested in the products we offer and will be responsible for assisting them in completing purchases online and over the phone. You will also inform customers of the product terms and features and project a professional company image through voice and online interactions. Position: Customer Service Specialist / Henderson Glass Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 Job Type: Part or Full Time Who we are: We are Michigan's Glass Experts with over 25 locations from Holland to New Baltimore and we have been around for over 100 years. In addition to auto glass repair and replacement, we are proud to offer our customers commercial and residential glass products and services. We are a family based, Michigan company that is continuing to grow. Who we need: We are seeking a customer service professional with strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate should have proficient computer skills and be able to take direction and work in a fast paced enviornment while reporting accidents and loss of personal property. Providing the highest level of customer service while empathizing with customers in high stress situations is a must. Essential Functions:
  • Answer incoming phone calls from customers, policyholders and insurance agents, listening to each customer's needs and concerns.
  • Gather information to help qualify damage for repair, replacement, or recalibration services. Verify insurance coverage, establish claims, and schedule appointments.
  • Communicate and resolve issues with an empathetic and patient mindset.
  • Operate various computer-based systems to enter data quickly and accurately into systems in real-time.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate a computer and telephone system while seated for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work one weekend day per week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service preferred
  • Experience utilizing several computer-based systems at a time
