Essential duties and responsibilities:
* Schedule, cancel, confirm or reschedule appointments according to scheduling guidelines
* Take and deliver accurate messages
* Screen calls to determine needs, identify and escalate priority issues accordingly.
* Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
* Direct calls to clinic Pod Support based on acuity and patient need
* Task items appropriately and timely
* Respond to customers/patients' questions and provide information as appropriate
* Verify and update patient demographics with each patient related call as needed
* Provide exceptional customer service to all callers
* Maintain cultural sensitivity when dealing with customers and coworkers
Experience: 2+ years prior experience working in customer service
Job Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills
* Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, keyboarding skills, multi-line phone system, and general office equipment
