Your responsibilities include reviewing medical charts, scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments based on scripts and guidelines. You will place calls for appointment reminders and collect care-specific information. Messaging duties involve routing incoming calls and forwarding complex inquiries to appropriate personnel, as well as managing electronic in-basket systems. In General Services, you will assist patients with facility information, handle departmental mail, and perform other related tasks. In Registration, you'll verify insurance eligibility, update demographic data, explain co-pays, and create Guarantor accounts. You may also refer patients to financial counselors and collect past-due balances. For Practice Organization, you will coordinate the referral process, track specialty care referrals, request test results, and manage schedules.
