Overview:
Operate professional cameras during live performances, capturing high-quality footage. Work closely with the Camera Director to create dynamic visuals, ensuring all key moments are recorded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cameras, adjusting for angles, focus, and lighting during live shows.
- Collaborate with the Director to plan and execute shots.
- Maintain and perform routine checks on camera equipment.
- Lift, push, and move items over 30 lbs, work in dark spaces, and handle special effects exposure.
- Attend rehearsals to anticipate camera movements.
- Follow safety protocols and resolve technical issues during the show.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a camera operator in live entertainment.
- Strong camera skills (focus, exposure, camera movements).
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to transport and operate equipment.
Certifications:
- OSHA 10 required; First Aid a plus
