Along with helping our students reach their goals, Pensacola State makes career fulfillment a reality.Job Description: PSC Kids' College Camp is an academic-based camp program offering a variety of summer camp themes each week, including STEM, Art, and Sports. Camp instructors deliver hands-on, educational experiences to youth aged 5-12 years old. Camp instructors are contracted per camp week and can work various weeks over summer breaks.Job Duties Include:
  • Prepare and implement daily camp activities for a group of up to 20 campers.
  • Supervise and assign tasks to camp assistants assigned to the camp room.
  • Ensure inclusion of all campers in daily activities.
  • Establish a positive relationship with other staff, parents, and participants. Provide parents, instructors, or camp leadership with feedback on campers as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants by being aware of participant locations at all times, sharing and enforcing appropriate safety regulations and procedures, and identifying and responding to camper behavior issues.
  • Maintain accurate program records including incident reports and daily attendance.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in education or other appropriate area of specialization from an accredited institution.
